Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Van Gogh... and probably many other great geniuses from a range of disciplines, coincided in the idea that perfection is not a detail itself, but rather perfection is in the details.
«Great things are done by a series of small things together. To act does not necessarily mean to do big things; it can also be doing a series of small things that will lead to great things”, Vincent Van Gogh once said.
And that’s precisely what we’ve been doing for the past two years, since last Labelexpo. We’ve focused on many small and meticulous details in order to make our iconic semi-rotary UV #offset Miyakoshi MLP even “better”. This semi-rotary web offset press runs at 121m/min with a repeat length of 406,4mm. Miyakoshi introduced cold start and automatic plate change to reduce substrate waste and improve timings on changeovers. Target applications are label runs between 500 – 30.000m, requiring different processes and finishes in-line. MLP is available in 350mm and 420mm web widths.
We could of course list them all… but that’s not what we’re going to do. It would just be a load of words. We prefer you to see and discover them for yourself, one by one. Small details make all the difference and they’re well worth being «seen» to understand the value they convey, especially in medium and short runs of high-quality self-adhesive #labels.
More than 45 #Miyakoshi MLP semi-rotary UV offset presses have been sold and installed throughout Europe (France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Poland… etc.) in recent years. Its great features are well-known and recognized.
Miyakoshi will also present its new LED-UV #inkjet printer MJP13LXV able to run at the speed up to 50m/min and 1200 X 1200 DPI resolution. The new press can be set with up to six colors and is designed to work with LED-UV inks. The company equipped it with pinning drying technology between color applications and LED curing system. The latter is powered by Miyakoshi’s nitrogen purging technology, which reduces the odor and improves the drying process. At the end of the production line, the substrates are finally passed through a chill roller for finishing and color fixing.
Improvement entails constant evolution and perfection is an infinite journey during which we never see the finish line. The mere fact of searching for it, allows us to be better.
Looking forward to meeting you at #LabelexpoEurope 2019.
